Key Benefits of CHLORCIP
CHLORCIP combines caustic alkali, hypochlorite and scale-control agents within a single formulation.
The caustic alkaline component provides powerful cleaning action against suitable organic food residues. Hypochlorite contributes chlorinated cleaning and sanitising chemistry, while the scale-control component helps support cleaning performance where water hardness and mineral deposits may otherwise affect the cleaning process.
The result is a heavy-duty, low-foaming cleaning formulation designed for professional food-processing applications.
Organic residues are common throughout food and beverage production and can include fats, oils, proteins and other food-processing contamination.
CHLORCIP is formulated to provide heavy-duty organic soil removal, using its caustic alkaline and chlorinated chemistry to support effective cleaning in demanding production environments.
Actual cleaning performance will depend on factors such as soil type, concentration, temperature, contact time and mechanical action.
Foam control is particularly important in automated CIP and spray-washing systems.
Excessive foam can affect:
CHLORCIP's low-foaming formulation is designed for cleaning systems where controlled foam characteristics are required.
Water quality can have a significant effect on industrial cleaning performance.
Hard water may contribute to mineral deposits and scale, potentially affecting equipment and cleaning efficiency.
CHLORCIP incorporates scale-control agents to support cleaning performance across a range of water conditions.
For particularly challenging water conditions, the cleaning programme should be assessed and validated for the specific site.
For consistent food-factory cleaning performance, several factors should be controlled:
CHLORCIP should form part of a documented and appropriately validated cleaning procedure for the specific application.
